Max is perfect in every way, oversized dark sable with tremendous head and bone strength. Absolutely rock-solid both physically and mentally. Totally trustworthy and reliable, can go anywhere, anytime and never be shaken. Quiet with a naturally calm demeanor along with second-to-none courage, hardness and fighting drive. Has the seldom seen ability to transition between calm and full power whenever needed. Consistently shows steady and sure behavior in every situation, from downtown sidewalks to world-class drive on command. Gentle with children along with impeccable house manners. Oversized and highly athletic with great ability to perform at maximum capacity scoring 295 points in IPO3! Shows his ability to solve problems and concentrate in tracking scoring a perfect 100. Highly dedicated to the handler, demonstrating natural guidability along in the obedience exercises scoring excellent with 96 points. Fantastic in protection; the more he is challenged, the stronger he becomes. Grips are full, crushing and hard; comes like a locomotive on the long distance courage test, releases quickly on command demonstrating a nearly perfect performance score of 99 points. Max is a six time IPO3 and highly ranked from the judges. Original German Breed Report: very large and substantial male with outstanding color, especially powerful head and good proportions. Outgoing and sure temperament with commendable ability to handle stress along with superior work ethic. Comes from seldom seen pedigree of dogs from both East and West Germany known to produce great looks along with outstanding performance. Sire is Brando von der Lordschaft, rated excellent in show and working. Lines to famous greats like Tom van Leftalhof, Amigo von Brachaler See, Troll Milanda Immo Rossilick. Mother is Zora von Ankenrutt, also rated excellent in show. Lines to Eddy Vorderen Schalk, Cliff Heidhof and Fax Bernhart Mader.

The Story behind our blessing of obtaining SG Max von Haus Cismar

On January 18, 2022, we were honored and blessed that Wayne and Jamie Curry of Kraftwerk K9 in Rochester, WA, entrusted us to become the new owners and handlers of this magnificent dog! Formerly Kraftwerk K9's #1 family/home protection dog, Max has proven himself to be everything Wayne said he is and has transitioned nicely into our home/dog/farm environment. Rather than see him retire, it was Wayne's desire to connect with likeminded, experienced breeders who shared the desire and goal to improve the working line German Shepherd dog in the US! Until you meet a dog like Max, you really cannot fathom how truly awesome and wonderful he is!  The best thing of all, according to Wayne is, "Max consistently reproduces himself in his offspring!"  

​"In looking for a home for Max, it was important to us to find someone like-minded in breeding philosophy and in the handling and care of our ALL-time favorite home, protection and breeding dog. After sending multiple Kraftwerk puppies  to the Parrotts and getting to know them over the years, we are excited to announce their purchase of SG-Max com Haus Cismar. We anticipate great things in the future as they follow the Kraftwerk K9 "footprint" for producing quality German Shepherds 'bred for the best!' in the deep south state of Mississippi. They are in the process of repurposing their nice barn facility into a Dog Haven to include spacious maternity bedroom suites and other housing. Each 12x12 dog suite will have the 'signature Kraftwerk enclosed safe concrete perimeter with pine straw in the center for optimal comfort and hygiene'" ~ Wayne Curry, Owner, Kraftwerk K9

​As former successful breeders of Top Spot Tennessee Walking horses as well as current breeders of champion longhaired miniature dachshunds, we at Seven Oaks Farms understand the genetic component of very selective, intentional breeding to maintain and preserve the natural quality of working line German Shepherds. When puppies are produced with the innate qualities of a "sound mind and body, strong, functional, intelligent, trainable, courageous, and resilient," their response to proper training - even as early as seven weeks - is totally natural as they function in the capacity for which they were originally bred.  Wayne's saying: "These dogs make my job look easy" is a true testament to a breeding program that preserves the dog's God-given, natural, innate qualities.

Having a dog of this caliber and ability is an investment, but is one well worth the initial investment! It is important to consider what is behind the pedigree (family) of every puppy you consider. It is NOT all just cuteness and good looks - it is a history of producing  the same qualities in each generation whilst propagating lines known for health, vitality and longevity.  Our oldest Kraftwerk girl is 13 years-old and loves to play with our four and five-month old puppies. 

As you consider a future puppy, keep in mind this saying by Kim's late father, "It costs the SAME to feed the BEST as it does to feed the REST!" - so true! ​
