Excited about this lovely photograph by Robert J. Skibinski to commemorate Dubba's (Seven Oaks I Can Only Imagine MLC) first two points awarded for Winners on Day 2 of her first show at eleven-months old during the Golden Triangle Kennel Club Show held at the Mississippi Horse Park. We are excited about her future!

Where did Lily "Match" on Match Day?
Match Day is ONE of the most IMPORTANT days for ANY training physician - especially for Lily Klotman. Watch her take a competency exam and see where she "matched."
The American Heart Association Survey Results - Our PETS Relieve STRESS!
The American Heart Association released a survey that found 95% of pet parents rely on the pet for stress relief. Dr. Glenn Levine, Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and Chief of Cardiology at the DeBakey VA Medical Center, was the lead author. "Lily" was purchased from us by Dr. Paul Klotman, President, Baylor College of Medicine, in October, 2019 just before COVID19 hit. She became what he described as Baylor’s “therapy dog.” She accompanies him to work every day and appears with him during his weekly BCM YouTube updates! Her “niece,” Lucy, lives in Durham, NC with her “mom,” Dr. Mary Klotman, Vice Chancellor and Dean of Duke University School of Medicine.
Sometimes, someone comes along who wants the same puppy we do, and . . ."Seven Oaks In Awe of You Be Still," from our "I can only Imagine" litter, is a gorgeous puppy girl affectionately known as "PinkPot." She was to be one of our two special "keepers" from this litter until someone just as special came along wanting her just as much as we did. After getting to know them and their uniquely special story, we felt convicted to change our minds and honored to execute the agreement for "PinkPot" to join their family! Enjoy her video and WATCH for her big ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT and the rest of this amazing story! A Huntersbroad ("Hunters") Crest is a unique hereditary trait that is considered to be a "Hallmark of EXCELLENCE!" It tends to skip from one generation to another. Here is the progression of the appearance of a Hunter's Crest in one of our shaded English cream puppies. Hover over or Tap each photo to view the age of progression. This article provides an interesting history from various breeders about the Huntersbroad ("Hunters") Crest.
We hope ALL of you ENJOY a peace-filled, special EASTER!
HAPPY EASTER from all the Seven Oaks K9 Hounds!!! Flashback to last AprilOver the next several blog posts, we are playing "catch-up." Our past poor internet service kept us from making regular posts.
We were so happy to have one of our precious pups, "Minnie Pearl" (formerly Ruth) join "Ruby" (from a previous litter) and the Sirven family last April! She also gets to see another fur family member, "Rosey," when she comes to visit. One of the best things of all is the wonderful FRIENDSHIPS that develop over the years! Thanks Rick and Deb, for coming back for another fur kid! We need new photos to post soon ;) "Beau" was welcomed by Tom "Brady," "Sadie" and, of course, their human mommy, Kim!We initially called "Beau," "Tom Brady" until we learned his new mommy already had a "Brady" - LOL! We are so thankful he has such a wonderful home with Kim in Texas, where he will also be a Baylor Bears fan! Kim, we wish you many years of joy and happiness with your precious new "Beau!" Kudos to "Dr. Lily" and her dad, Dr. Paul Klotman, President-Baylor College of Medicine for the referral. Now "Lily" will have a playmate to visit!
