We are ONE week old now!!!Sweet dreams little ones! It won't be long till you run and play like crazy! Whelping Day is a "Main Event"Well before whelping day, we make preparations for the new "family." We have an x-ray done between day 54 and day 57 so we know how many puppies to anticipate. Then after whelping, we usually have a follow-up x-ray to be sure there are no retained pups. We currently use the 38"x38" EZWhelp whelping box for our mommas. We use a baby monitor to keep tabs on momma several days prior to her due date and following delivery. This is the first time I (Kim) had a dear friend around (Suzanne) to assist with whelping - she was AWESOME! Enjoy Maggy's slide show and videos leading up to the arrival of her precious children . . . Stay tuned for weekly updates as Maggy (and Remington's) children grow up!
Motherhood looks good on Maggy on Day 60At Seven Oaks Farms, we love our mommies and babies. Maggy has always been a "queen bee" in our family... from sleeping in our bed to relaxing in our laps to curling up on our sofa, she is our first cream mommy and a very special part of our family. She already has two champions with more children to hit the show ring soon. This will likely be her last litter. We are excited about her forthcoming children!
